Gladys Mary Moore

Gladys Mary Dotson Moore, 92, of Fairview, went home Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the Flesher's of Fairview Health Care. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late James Robert and Julia VeHorn Dotson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clinton F. Moore, and siblings Lilly, Louise, John, and James. Mrs. Moore worked for Beacon Manufacturing, and she was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She loved much, and was much loved. She is survived by sons Bobby (Elizabeth), William, and John (Diane); ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister Joanne Weiland; and brother Edward (Josephine). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with the Revs. Ron Roberts and Jim Whitted officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Flowers are appreciated, or memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 455 Hollywood Rd., Fairview, NC 28730.
