Gladys Mundy Bryson

Mills River~ Gladys Mundy Bryson, 87, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Park Ridge Hospital. A native of Buncombe County, she was daughter of the late J.K. and Bertie Riddle Mundy and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred John Bryson who died in 2002. She was an employee with the Amercian Enka Corporation with forty two years of service. She is survived by a son, Ronald Bryson of Mills River. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at Shepherd Memorial Park with the Reverend Greg Bell officiating. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church 112 Ray's Place Lane, Horse Shoe, N.C. 28742. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is in charge of arrangements.
