  2. I grew up in Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. Through the years, Gladys was always my mentor.
She had a voice of an angel, and I loved hearing her sing, and she always gave me encouragement to lift up my voice to the Lord. She was a wonderful friend to my mother, Lora Hedden, through the years. She has always been, and will continue to remain in my thoughts and in my heart. I love Gladys, and she will be missed here on earth, but I can hear her
singing now with the heavenly choir she has longed to join.
