Glenda Ann Bond

McDonough, GA – Glenda Ann Searcy Bond, 55, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Glenda was born in Buncombe County to Elizabeth Bishop Searcy and the late Glenn Searcy. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Searcy. Glenda loved being a homemaker. She loved flowers and enjoyed her yard and home looking beautiful. She was dear to all that knew her and will be missed by all. Surviving is her mother, Elizabeth Searcy; her husband, Timothy "Tim" Bond; son, Bryant Bond and his wife, Donna and their daughter, Bryana; daughter, Chrystal Bing and her daughter, Austin and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverends Matthew Morgan and Bridger Bane officiating at Bethany UMC Cemetery in Fairview. The family will receive friends Thursday, prior to the graveside, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road in Arden.
