Although I am saddened by Gordon’s passing, I am deeply honored to have had him as a friend and co-worker for the last 38 years. Gordon was a lot of fun to work with, and I will always remember him as one of the guys that I looked up to when I first came to work at CP&L. As much fun as Gordon was to be around, make no mistake, he was a hard working lineman. He gave his all, and always made time to teach and coach the younger men. A great many men are better linemen because of his example. Gordon loved being a lineman, but it was never hard to see that he loved his family more. He talked about you often, and is so very proud of you. We will miss you Gordon, but your spirit will live on in our hearts until we see you again. R.I.P. my friend.
Regina and family, I am so sorry to hear about Gordon. He will be truly missed by all. He was a good man and a great friend. I always remember him making us laugh with his funny stories. Now he is with our Lord, no longer suffering. Gordon will always be in our hearts and he never be forgotten. Love to all.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope God can give you some peace through out this difficult time and in the future. I’m sorry I can not attend, but I will be thinking of you.
Gordon was a dear friend and will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He made you laugh and was a joy to be around. Regina, Marcy and Kristy…you are in our thoughts. I’m sure you have incredible memories. We love you.
