Gregg G. Green

Gregg G. Green, 78, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at The Landing at Mills River.

Gregg was born in Buncombe Co. on August 26, 1942, to the late George Richard Green and Lily Robeson Green. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Linton G. Green; and sisters, Alda Huntley and Gail Green.

He lived in Florida for over 40 years and moved back to North Carolina in 2020 due to health problems. He worked as a maintenance manager for a condo at Flagler Beach, FL, for over 20 years.

Gregg was a gentle, kind soul, and a jokester at heart. He will be missed dearly by his family.

He is survived by his brother, Alvin D. Green; sisters, Mae Elliot (Howard) and Virginia Wilson; nephews, Glenn “Ricky” Green, Mark Elliott and Mathew Elliot; nieces, Kathy Wilson Collins, Jackie Higgins, Vicki Wyatt, Lorinda Cuthberston, Amanda Dryman, Monica Plemmons, Christy Bryant, and Dorothy Williams.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Mr. Mark Elliott officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in his honor to your favorite charity.
