  4. On behalf of the Pikes I would like to thank everyone for everything they have done for us. This is the time we need friends and their prayers. I thank my friends and family for being with me when they have problems themselves. You are great. I will not forget you and what you have done. May God give you peace so you can remember the good times you had with him. You will see him again. I’m sure of that.
Daddy, I will miss you until the day I see you again. You will always be in my heart. Give my mom a hug and tell her that I love her. Don’t forget about us down here. Your loving daughter.

  5. Our thoughts and prayers go to the Penland and Pike families at this time. We love you all so much. Thank you for including mamaw (Velma) and us in the arrangements. That was so sweet, kind, and considerate. Even though we are not blood we always felt that Grover and you all were part of our family. He sure will be missed out here driving that little green truck into the driveway to pick up mamaw and taking off. They sure spent a lot of good times together. We are so thankful that God allowed Him and you all to be a part of our lives. May God Bless You and comfort you at this time. Our doors are always open and you all are always welcome. We love you.

  10. Hey. I know that you are asleep right now but I found this and thought of you!

If tears could build a stairway, and memories were a lane, we would walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken, No time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to me to lose you, No one will ever know. We know that you want us to remember the good times, and the happy times when we laughed together. Pop, you will never be forgotten, we promise to you, a place within our hearts where you will always be!
