August 2, 1934 ~ August 12, 1999
A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Sidney A. and Carrie Robertson Cagle. He grew up attending Calvary Baptist Church and more recently attended the Words of Life Tabernacle. He was a master finish carpenter, working with Tweeds Furniture Company and Blythe Construction Company.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Barnhardt Cagle; son Cliff Cagle of Asheville; three sisters, Mable Blythe, Marian Tweed and Joann Lyda, all of Hendersonville and two granddaughters, Carrie Annette Cagle and Crystal Dawn Cagle.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at Shepherd Memorial Park conducted by the Revs. Carl Bishop and Greg Corn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donald and Dustin Bishop, Ryan Cole, John Shelor, Ed Fore and Norman Rauschenberger.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
