Harold Franklin Robinson, 75, of 11 Baker Road, Asheville, died Saturday, August 11, 2001, at his home.

Mr. Robinson was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Murphy and Viola Brooks Robinson. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was a retired self-employed brickmason.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Stanberry Robinson; one son, Roger Robinson of Candler; four daughters, Linda Fender of Richmond, VA, Sharon Panasewicz of Anchorage, AK, Barbara Davis of Asheville and Melissa McCarson of Candler; two sisters, Elsie Pope of Asheville and Virginia Davis of Alabama; one brother, Ernest Robinson of Candler; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

Military honors will be provided by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team.

His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
