My Deepest Sympathies,
Harriet was a wonderful woman and I know she and my mother, Anna Koster, had many good times together being ‘roomies’ at Givens.
Dillon and I will miss her smiling face when we come every Wednesday to visit Mother.
May God shelter you in his loving embrace.

Nancy, Bruce,
Our deepest condolences to you and all the family. She was the oldest of that generation and the last on Grandma’s side of the family. Thank you for your call.
There is a funny story I want to share with you. While Dave’s parents were living in Florida, we had to make several emergency trips to Kissimmee when Dad was so ill. I was talking with Harriet after one of those trips and had to laugh right out loud. We were flying back and forth and she got it in her head that there was just no reason why the pilot couldn’t ‘let us off’ in Highlands so we could visit with her. She didn’t understand why we couldn’t just drop in.
The rest of my story about Harriet wanting us to ‘drop in’ is that we all had a good laugh when Harriet realized what she had been asking. She said, ‘No, I guess the pilot can’t do that.’
My husband- Bill Depp, now deceased, and I were close neighbors of Harriet’s on
Cokesbury Lane. I have loving memories of Harriet- a fine, friendly , caring lady — who donated a refrigerator to us when she moved from this street. I am still using it and think often of her.She will be missed. Marion Depp.
Years ago Harriet and Gerry rented my little house in Whitefish Bay. Harriett was such an enthusiastic tenant – so pleased that I allowed pets. Because I lived in Massachusetts at that time, she became acquainted with my parents and often asked about them over the years as we kept in touch at Christmas. I often wished I’d been able to visit her in North Carolina and am sorry to learn of her passing. She was a warm, loving lady who always put a smile on my face.
