Harriet Josephine Aiken

Arden ~ Harriet Josephine Aiken (Jody) of Maybury Court in Arden, NC went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2005. She was born March 15, 1917 to the late Joseph Charles and Agnes Mae Bryner Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband William K. Aiken; her brother, Roland Anderson; her sister, Wilma Stratton; and her son-in-law, Gerald W. Lutz. She is survived by three children, Barbara Dawn Lutz of Arden, NC, James Ronald Aiken and wife Ruth Ann of Harmony, PA and Keith Edwin Aiken and wife Anna Marie of Ellwood City, PA; a brother, Milton C. Anderson and wife Gertrude of Ellwood City, PA; nine grandchildren, Jody Sue Lowe and husband James, Randall W. Lutz and wife Jerelene, Robert W. Aiken and wife Tammy, J. Wade Aiken, Craig Aiken, Kent Aiken and wife Gail, Eric P. Aiken and wife Angela, Rayanne Aiken and Johanna Aiken; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica Lowe Ferguson and husband Andrew, Katherine Lowe and fiancé Matthew Keith, Jeremiah Lutz, Jonathan Lutz and fiancé Michelle Marlowe, Logan Aiken, Hunter Aiken, Amanda, Alex, and Jessica. A memorial service will be held 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road. Private family burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
