Harriett Hardy Kenyon

Mrs. Kenyon was the daughter of the late Kathrine Danforth Hickok and Frederic Llewellyn Hickok and was a former resident of Cleveland, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, New York City and summered in Hollis, New Hampshire.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Rodney C. Hardy in 1981 and W. Houston Kenyon in 1996.

She is survived in Asheville by a daughter, Ann Hardy Porter and three grandchildren, Cedric Warren Porter, III, Sarah E. Porter and Rodney H. Porter.  She is also survived by her son, Rodney Danforth Hardy of Minneapolis, Minn.; three additional granddaughters, Katharine H. Erskine, Elizabeth H. Carey, Johanna H. Willegalle and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am Monday at Deerfield conducted by her grandson-in-law, the Rev. Brenton H. Carey and the Rev. Richard Gilbert.  A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Planned Parenthood of Central Ohio, Inc., 206 East State Street, Columbus, OH 43215.
