Harry Aloysius Leeder

Harry Aloysius Leeder, Jr, 85, of Asheville, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at the VA Medical Center.
A native of New York, New York, he was a son of the late Harry A. Leeder, Sr and Theresa Black Leeder. A WWII veteran of the Army Air Force, he served with the 20th Combat Mapping Squadron, 6th Photo Group, 5th Air Force and attended many of their reunions. He was a ham radio operator, call sign N2HL; a member of the American Radio Relay League and a member of VFW Post #891.
Mr. Leeder is survived by a daughter, Abigail Leeder Kennedy of Brockport, NY; 2 sons, Gregory Leeder of Fort Wayne, IN and Christopher Leeder of Albany, NY.
His family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

N2HL will be missed. He was a good friend, who faithfully joined several of us for lunch on Fridays, when he was available, and feeling good. I have kept him, and the family, in my thoughts, during these days. May God be with you.
