Harry, You were a good friend. You defended your country with honor and courage. Life dealt you a bad hand but not once did I ever hear you complain or gripe or try to place blame on anyone or anything. To me, that’s being a Man. Harry, you were a true Patriot! I would like to offer my sympathy to all of those you cared about and who cared about you. So Long, Harry.
Your good friend, Roger.
Clayton Jacksson sends his condolences. Harry was a long time friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
My Dad is in the VA Nursing home and our family had the pleasure of meeting Harry several months ago. My Dad grew very fond of him and he visited in my Dad’s room several times a day. He was so very nice and he always cheered my Dad up.(He can not walk and has to be lifted into a wheel chair.) They discussed if we might be relatives and had fun about that, too. My Dad is very sad and wanted to somehow let you know how much Harry touched his life. You are in our prayers and we hope that your memories will comfort you. Our memories of Harry will always be fond and stay with us. Sincerely,
Bob Gillespie
