Fran,
There is no way for me to express how sorry I am that I did not get by to see Harvey while he was sick. I had the utmost respect and admiration for him. He gave me a lot of good advice as I was coming up in the Lodge. We also had a lot of really wonderful and sometimes funny conversations. He and his smile will be truly missed by many of us.
Johnny
My Great Uncle Harvey was a wonderful man who put a smile on everyone’s face he met. He will be greatly missed.
Fran,
We will all miss Harvey. I can only treasure the memories.

Ms. Fran:
I didn’t really get to know you or your husband Harvey. I knew of you and I had seen you both before. I was a past member of the Moose Lodge. I am sorry for your loss and I want you to know that I have placed you and your family’s name on my church prayer list. Know that you all are in our prayers and thoughts, that would be Edgewood Baptist Church in Enka Candler. I know your husband had been sick for a real long time, but God let him stay around a good 80 some years, just not long enough. We’re not promised a tomorrow though. He isn’t suffering with cancer no more. I work with Lib Gilliam so I kept up with you two that way. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get to the funeral home visitation but in case I don’t, I want you to know God is right there with you. I hope you will seek Him in these days ahead, He will listen and He will comfort, if only you seek Him. He will give comfort like nothing you will ever find in this world. If I can do anything for you or just maybe be a friend, let Lib know and she can get us in touch. We never know when God will call us out of here and there is a wonderful place waiting for those who has God’s spirit living in them. We must always be ready to go and those who are saved and believe will live forever more in that wonderful Home called Heaven where our Lord and Savior has made that mansion He promised us.
May Bod bless you in the difficult days ahead. I know you had a wonderful marriage and that is something to be proud of this day and time. It will be hard to be alone but God will help you if you let Him. You are in my prayers.
Love,
Teressa Warren
