Hazel Boyd Ingle, 85, of Claude Drive, Asheville, passed away in her home on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Burgin and Mamie Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Ingle, who died in 2001. Mrs. Ingle is survived by her sisters, Mildred Warren, of Asheville, and Edith McConnell, of Enka; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dale Stevenson, of Asheville, and Sandy and Dale Cox, of Leicester; granddaughter, Stacy Buckner and husband Matthew; her pride and joy, her two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Haley; and her best buddy, Angie. A graveside service for Mrs. Ingle will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the CarePartners Chaplain Karen Smith officiating. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. Mrs. Ingle's family wishes to thank CarePartners and the Council on Aging for their support and compassion.
