  2. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Diggs she was such a classy lady always had a kind word for everyone. I always enjoyed seeing her and Mr.Diggs at the grill. I knew them from when they attended Fannings Chapel Methodist Church.

  3. I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Diggs passing. She and Mr. Diggs were our neighbors in Laurel Park. I loved talking to them. They always asked about our children. She was such a special lady. When they moved there she was still at Erwin. She was so pleased that Allison ( our daughter) was going to be a teacher. May God bless you and comfort you during this sad time.

  4. Henry and Helen were good friends and I had the great pleasure of playing music at they’re 50th wedding anniversary. Henry hired me to work at Steelcase in 1984. They were both wonderful people and Helen was a caring and a sweet lady. God bless.

  5. I have such fond memories of your sweet mother as a librarian, teacher and neighbor. I was saddened to learn of her passing during this difficult time.

  6. I had the privilege of working alongside your mom as a librarian at Mapp Jr. High School in Portsmouth, Va. in the early ‘70’s. She and your dad were such wonderful people and always made my husband “Fleecy” and me feel like a part of the family. It was always so gratifying to visit with them via Christmas letters, phone calls, or in their home. Our last visit with them was a few years ago in Arden. We will always treasure our memories of them. You “boys”, as your mom affectionately called you, were so blessed to be the sons of such wonderful people. They have left a tremendous legacy for all of us who had the privilege of knowing them.
