Mr. Martin will forever hold a special place in my heart. He was the first person to welcome me at West Asheville Baptist Church and I always looked forward to seeing him on Sunday’s. He was a man of prayer and his servant’s heart touched many lives. I will miss Mr. Martin but I’m rejoicing that He is with our Savior.
To the family of Henry Martin: My wife and I had the privilege of being in a discipleship class with him about seven years ago. Henry was the most sincere and caring man we’ve met. He was truly a servant and backed up his faith with action. Henry was never one to be in forefront but you could always count of Henry being involved in God’s work – often only God and a few others knew of his dedication.
We have been greatly saddened to hear of his passing but we know he is in heaven worshiping God and sitting and talking with Jesus.
