Henry Wilson, 82, of Candler, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the CarePartners Solace Center.
A native of Waynesville, Henry was a son of the late Raymond Wilson, Sr., and Ruby Russell Wilson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and retired from Champion.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda K. Wilson; daughters, Angie Ledford and husband Mark, and Christy House and husband Mike; grandchild, Sidney Ledford; and brothers, Tom and George Wilson.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

We are so sorry to hear about Henry’s passing. His mother Ruby and our mother Louise were sisters. Since our mother’s passing in 2000, we haven’t made it very often to the family reunions since we live in upstate NY. Prayers for comfort for Henry’s family and friends.
