Dear Gerald, Debra, Ray, Norman, Roger and the whole Dyer family…So sorry to hear about Herman passing away. I have known Herman since I was a kid going to Riddles Grocery Store. What a great story teller and friend. Even though the decades are passing quickly, I always cherish the fun times with all you guys. Please know my prayers are with you during this painful time.
Sincerely, Paul
Debra, You may not remember me but we rode the school bus together when you lived on Weaverville Rd. (I have 2 sisters Jane and Jean) I am so sorry for your loss. I know where you are right now. It is not much consolation now but I had to learn to take one day at a time. It still hurts but in Heaven there is no more pain and this makes Heaven seem more special to you and gives you a greater desire to go there. Love, Joan Hollar Gosnell
Norman and Roger,

My Sweet Uncle Herman’, since we were all little children, there was nothing in the world more fun than going to Aunt Ethel’s and Uncle Herman’s house. Listening to you play your piano was always the high light ! You gave me so many wonderful memories. ‘ You will forever have a special place in my heart.’ I love you and will miss you so much, Your Niece Bobbie
My Dear Herman, you will never be gone from our family, because we have so many happy memories from all the years. You and Frank were friends from the time you were little boys and always ment so much to each other. You will forever be in our hearts; Pat, Peggy, Bobbie & Joey
Papaw,
You were such a wonderful man. Everytime I saw you, you would have the biggest smile on your face. It always brightened my day. I miss you so incredibly much. I miss you hugs, your smile, talking to you, but you in general most of all. I know someday I will see you again. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to that day. I hope that you will watch over our family. I love you so much.

Debra and Family, There are no words that we can find to express our sympathy of the loss of Herman. He has been next door to us for nearly 15 yrs..even when his dearly departed Mother was alive. We loved them both, and I can’t say how many times Herman has been in our yard talking and laughing…(Always laughing). But there were times when we could hear him on the porch at night suffering and coughing. That is one Consolation..NO MORE SUFFERING..He is walking the Streets of Gold with his Mother now and I know she is happy to see her ‘Boy’ again. He was a good man and he will be sorely missed by many people. Debra, if you need us for ANYTHING you know where we live…Sending sympathy, love and prayers straight from our hearts,
God sent us an Angele some called him daddy ,uncle, or papaw. But we all called him a friend! A great man who loved life , women , and a good story. He has his wings now hopefully he flys better than he drives. I will miss you! Michelle and. Jeff
