Hiawatha W. “Cooter” Reemes, 67, of 22 Karen Place, Asheville, died Sunday, April 10, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Mrs. Reemes was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Robert Waldrop and Martha Sherlin Waldrop Monteith. She was also preceded in death by a brother Billy Waldrop. She was retired from the Country Food Stores.
Surviving are one brother Tony Waldrop and his wife Betty Ann of Asheville, four nephews and one niece.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ashelawn Gardens with the Rev. Charlie Sams officiating.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family and the family will be at the home, 22
Karen Place.
