To Linda & Bobby, So very sorry to hear of the loss of Hilda. She was a very special person and loved everyone. She made you feel very welcome in her home.I will never forget her. She & pinkney did so many heartfelt things for Me when Kristi and Kevin were small and I needed help. It just seemed that they couldnt do enough for us. I will never forget them. Our prayers and love go out to you at this time. Remember Linda I am just a phone call away. I love you, Lynda & Kenneth Hensley.
My thoughts are with the Ballard family in your time of loss. Hilda was a fine person. She rode to work with me at the Enka plant for a time. I am sure she will be missed.
Dear Linda,Bobby,and Family:
Looking back on my lifetime to when I was a tiny little girl, I have many fond memories of Hilda,Pinkney, and of course both of you and the rest of your family that will never be forgotten.I’ll never forget how good Hilda could cook. I’ll never forget her always taking me shopping to several grocery stores to get the best bargains. She even took me to the Enka plant to visit her coworkers a couple of times, and talked to me a lot about sewing. She would bring me home some of the big spools of discontinued threads to play with, and looking back on that now, I kind of giggle to myself because I ended up working in a blanket factory sewing blankets for twelve years myself. Pinkney would take me riding on his tractor when he went to bail hay, and I loved helping him!And how ironic that he drove the big yellow school bus, and so have I for the past eight years. And of course me and mom will never forget eating those sweet watermelons in their front yard. I will always hold both Hilda and Pinkney ‘Forever’ in my heart. They always did a lot to try to help out with me, my brother Kevin, and our mom Lynda Hensley. ‘Thank you’ Bobby and Linda for always playing with me.Just know now, that Hilda and Pinkney are together again and being rewarded for all the good deeds they did on earth.. I know they will be rewarded greatly, because they were good to everyone who knew them!!!Please know that both of you are in all me and my families prayers. If there is anything that any of us can do, please call my mom, and she get in touch with me and we will everyone be right there!!!
With Love and Sincere Sympathy,
Kristi Hensley Bartlett
To the Ballard Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Hilda will be missed by all who knew her.
God bless you,
