  1. We have shared many good memories with your family over the many years we have been neighbors. Losing a parent is hard. We appreciate your helping her to remain in her home as she wished.
    Bob and Cathryn Kinser

  2. Our deepest sympathies to all. We treasured our visits to Mrs. Jones wonderfully warm Asheville home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  3. Dear Don, Gail, David, and Dottie,

We are thinking of you and sending our deepest sympathy and our love.

I was fortunate to have a wonderful visit with Aunt Hilda and Beth not too long ago and learned more about the rich history of the Maney family. It was a rewarding and fulfilling visit as we laughed together and reminisced. It was a comfort to talk that day and I will always remember that visit with gratitude.

    With kind thoughts and prayers,
    Janet and Bob

  4. Mrs. Jones was a very sweet and wonderful neighbor. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

    Ernest Henderson

  5. To Don & Gail, David, Dottie & family
We were fortunate to share in the life of our Aunt Hilda. She was my grandmother’s sister & friend. She was my mom’s aunt and they were very close. She was my, my brother and 3 sister’s great aunt and our children’s great, great aunt.
She was a wonderful person, always taking interest in all our lives. As my son said ‘She was one of the nicest people I have ever met’. Her music was awesome, and she played for us anytime we asked. I am thankful for the memories of such a special person.

  6. What a rich history the Jones, Maney, Thompson, Plamondon, and Clayton families have together! As Ann has said, ‘Now WE are the older generation.’

Hilda was a very special dear and talented lady.

    Blessings to all of you,
    Jeannie

  7. When we think of Hilda, it is to remember her sunny smile. Our teen years were spent listening to and singing with her as she played the organ for West Asheville Baptist Church. We are friends with her older son and his wife. Hilda will be missed but she will brighten up her new home.

  8. Her life was long and blessed. I remember her role in the music program back in the good old days. She reached many with the beauty of her music. My sympathy to all of you. Ken Sanford

  9. i remember mrs jones at West Asheville baptist church.
to the family with deepest sympathy.
