Hilliard James Frisbee

Hilliard James Frisbee, 90, of 236 Austin Branch Road, Leicester died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Frisbee was born in Madison County and was a son of the late Robert and Roxie Brown Frisbee. Mr. Frisbee owned and operated a farm, worked for Blue Ridge Tractor for several years, and more recently Farm Equipment Co. Mr. Frisbee is survived by his wife of 70 years, Selma McMahon Frisbee; daughter, Sandra Reeves and husband Don, of Leicester; sons, Roger Frisbee and wife Grace, Dwight Frisbee and wife Dyanne, all of Leicester, Donald Frisbee, of Asheville, and Carroll Frisbee, of the home; sisters, Effie, Margaret, and Maythorn; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Little Sandy United Methodist Church with the Revs. Dennis Brown and Paul Sluder officiating. Burial will follow in the church’s cemetery. His family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
