Hilliard Marion Riddle

A native of Madison County, he was a son of the late James C. and Lula Roberts Riddle. He was a self employed brick mason.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Justus Riddle; a son, Bob Fender Riddle and his wife Linda of Asheville; sis daughters, Vronda King of Candler, Evelyn Stines of Elk Park, Sharon Griffey of Butler, TN, Hilda House of Asheville, Susan Taylor of Asheville and Teresa Musick of Elizabethton, TN; a sister Mae Edwards of Mars Hill; a brother Glenn Riddle of Candler; Nineteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Maple Ridge Baptist Church with the Reverend's Jesse Stines and Steve Fox officiating. Entombment will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park.

His family will receive friends 4-6:00 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Avenue where the body will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
