Hobert Dale Green, 57, of Louisville Place, Asheville, died Friday, January 28, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital.
A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Hobert H. Green and Fannie Rhodes Green, and the husband of the late Liddie Moore Green who died in 2003.
He is survived by a niece, Lydia Kneece and her husband Alan, of Asheville; a nephew, Thomas Green, of Weaverville; and a great-nephew, Tommy Rickerson, of Asheville.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Larry Sprinkle at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Sluder Family Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Beverly Healthcare Center, 500 Beaverdam Road, Asheville, NC 28804.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.

I am very sorry for the loss of Dale. It is hard for me to think of Dale, Jerry, and Terry all gone. They were wonderful to my brothers and I when we came up from Florida to visit my Grandmother Buckner. Dale was alsways quite and sweet. May God Bless your family.
Dearest Dale, The West Wing at Beverly Healthcare is just not the same without you! I miss you so much and know you are at peace. I often think about where you are buried and the day Kim and I went up there. I miss your CONTINUAL smile, your stories and your caring. It was always so nice to see your smile to greet me when I got to work in the afternoon. It was so comforting to talk when I got stressed out about work, (which I often did) You know and are living the great mystery and joy of life after death. I will see you some day..I love you!

Very sorry for the lose of Dale.I know he is happy once again because deep down he really missed Lyiddie.Now he can be with her again.My prayers are with you all in this time.May GOD bless.
