Hubert Charles Fore

Mr. Fore was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Horace Ward Fore and Augusta Sexton Fore. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was a member of the Candler House of Prayer. He was a former employee of the Asheville Hosiery Mill and Three Mountaineers and retired from Asheville Steel.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby O’Kelley Fore; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and David Boyter, Shelia and Ronnie Mease, and Audette and Charles Watts, and one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald C. and Sharon Fore, all of Candler; three sisters, Ava Lee O’Kelley, Mildred Fuller, and Helen Ramsey, all of Asheville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Chuck Waldrup officiating.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and at other times will be at the home of Charles and Audette Watts, 322 Luther Road, Candler.
