Inez C. Woody

Mrs. Woody was born in Buncombe County, was a daughter of the late Floyd and Bertha Parham Cummings and was married to Jimmie F. Woody, who died in 1997.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Woody Roberts of Alexander and Brenda Woody Lawson of Leicester, four sisters, Virgie Johnson and Mary Sue Ellenburg of Asheville, Lucille Freeman of Gerton and Ruth Worley of Leicester; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Everett Haney, Billy Gillespie and Rusty Rector officiating. Burial will be at Ashelawn Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 5 - 7:00 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and at other times will be at the home of her daughter, Linda, 45 High Valley Estates, Alexander.
