Inez McFee Davis

Inez McFee Davis, 73, of 118 Davis Creek Road, Candler, died Friday, November 29, 2002. Mrs. Davis was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Clement and Birdie McFee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Troy C. Davis and a son, Stephen Davis. She was retired from Kellwood Corporation after 27 years of service and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed. Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Rhinehart and her husband Danny of Candler; two sons, Donnie Davis and Mitzi of Candler and Scott Davis of Candler; 2 brothers Clyde McFee of Levittown, Pa. and Claude McFee of Taylorsville, NC: five grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church with the Revs. Bobby Winebarger and Austin Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Davis will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and at other times will be at 2 Sams Branch Road, Candler.
