Irene Moses

Irene C. "Ruby" Moses, 74, of 29 Owenby Rd., Candler, died on Thursday, May 7, 2009, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. A native of Jackson Co., Mrs. Moses was a daughter of the late Van and Ernie Stewart Childers. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers, and one sister. She was a member of Fall Cliff Baptist Church, in Jackson Co. Mrs. Moses is survived by her husband, Clarence; daughter and son-in-law, Levita M. and Darryl Warren, of Candler; son, Stephen Moses, of Candler; two grandsons, Austin and Avery Moses; sister, Alta Bryson, of Candler; and brothers, Clell Childers, of Arden, and Charlie Childers, of Cullowhee. A funeral service for Mrs. Moses will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Revs. Eddie Stillwell and Jim Ed Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to CarePartners Hospice, P.O.
