Iretha Bradley Clontz, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 19, 2000 after an extended illness.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Ellis and Maggie Dalton Bradley. She was the wife of the late William Bryan Clontz who died in 1979. She was also preceded in death by a sister Mabel Maynor of Asheville; four brothers, Ernest, Emory and Edgar Bradley of Asheville and Dr. Earle Bradley of Raleigh. She was a former charter member of Westwood Baptist Church where she served as pianist and organist for many years. She was currently a member of Erwin Hills Baptist Church. She was the former owner and operator of Bradleys Grocery in Oakley.

Her survivors include a daughter Inez Tardugno of Leesburg, FL; a sister, Edna Hill of Asheville; grandchildren, Michael Tardugno and his wife Shelli of Greenville, SC, Steven Tardugno and his wife Elisha of Leesburg, FL, William Page and his wife Barbara of Port Deposit, MD; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including Charles Bradley and his wife Mary of Swannanoa. Special thanks to a dear friend and care giver for two years Nick Perry.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Carson Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
