Dude, Jan: I was so sorry to hear abt the death of Carl.
I saw Kenan Fox at the evening service last nite
at Biltmore Baptist and he was the one who told me abt
the death.
I pray that God will give you a peace that passeth all
understanding during these
difficult days and those ahead of you.
Please accept my deepest
sympathy.

Carl, i think about you often. Thank you for looking out for me when i was a little boy. Taking me to the railroad station, taking me to buy wood for my tree house, letting me split wood and pick tomatoes with you, Letting us ask Dude for candy everyday. Thank you for letting me be your little shadow around your yard. Thanks for being my friend. Love Joey
