Isabelle Clark Ledbetter

Atlanta, GA – Isabelle "Billie" Clark Ledbetter, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Nursecare of Buckhead in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Ledbetter was born in Hendersonville, NC to the late Charles Robert Clark and Katie Elizabeth Staton Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Pearson "C.P." Ledbetter, Jr. and by seven siblings. Mrs. Ledbetter was a member of Avery's Creek United Methodist Church in Arden. She was also a member of the Old Buncombe County Geological Society where she helped map out cemeteries all over the county. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; Gail Ledbetter Munoz and her husband, Alex, of Atlanta, GA and Gary Dean Ledbetter and his wife, Ria, of Blairsville, GA; brother, Ralph Clark and his wife, Mildred, of Hendersonville; three grandchildren, Charles Munoz of Seattle, WA, and Xander and Pearse Ledbetter of Blairsville, GA; three sister-in-laws, Trudy Clark, Nina Ledbetter Smith and Margaret "Birdie" Clark and several cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Avery's Creek United Methodist Church in Arden with Pastor Frank Ramos officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the church.
