Iva was a very dear friend to me. I
met her in 1972 and we remained friends through the years. I attended her retirement function and was delighted to see the many friends that thought so much of her to come and wish her the best in her retirement years. She made it possible for a lot of Rad. students to create successful careers.
I would like to send a personal note to her closest relative to share with the family if I could get a mailing address.
Thanks you,
Richard Miles
My prayers are with you as you celebrate the life of a wonderful person.
Iva was a fried and co-worker of my brother, the late Henry Dawkins. She was, indeed, a true professional in the field of radiology. She encouraged Henry to complete his degree before the program moved from Memorial Mission to AB Tech.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Wall from 1980 until she retired in 1995. After she left, we all felt that we had lost a member of our family. Over time, we began to realize how she had never really left. Her mark could never be erased. Every day we had learned from her and yearned for more. She was an incredible woman who gave so much. My hushand will often remind me that Mrs. Wall would not have handled a problem that way when I’ve made a mess of things at work. She taught me so much and I will always remember her fondly.

Dear family of Iva, it was my great pleasure to work with Iva at MMH from 1980-85. I was the VP in Administration who worked with Radiology. During those years, I gained a tremendous respect for Iva as a Manager and more importantly a wonderfully warm, caring human being.I have many great memories of those years working with(or for)Iva. She would almost always be calling my office when I walked in each morning. She was an early riser and ready to get to solving the problems of the day. After a while, she let up on me and let me at least get a cup of coffee before she called.I know that her life impacted many in a life changing way. Iva is one of those people that you meet in the pathway of life whose memory you will always cherish. The world is a better place because of her. She will be missed. May God’s grace and peace comfort you in your time of grief.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you in your time of loss.
Go in peace
I am thinking about you!!!
I certainly miss Iva and think of
her often. Bonnie
I worked with Ms. Wall at MMH for several years.
I found her to be one of the finest managers I have ever worked with.
She will be greatly missed.
We were very sorry to here that Iva had passed away.We did not know until late Monday night. You all are in out thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow. May God in His grace give you comfort.

I am so very sorry I was not able to attend Iva’s service. She was a very special lady and truely taught me that I could ‘soar like an eagle’. She will be missed by many!
Ms. Wall (I just never could bring myself to call her Iva) was one of my mentors from whom I learned most of what I know about the radiology business. I am deeply greatful to her for giving me the opportunity to succeed her upon her retirment. I remember a conversation we had a few months before her retirement. In that conversation, she told me she was going to recommend me to administration as her successor. I told her I had some reservations about replacing a legend. She got that wry and mischievous smile on her face that she was famous for and said, ‘Just don’t try to be Iva Wall. Be yourself and everthing will work out fine’. Sometimes when the going gets tough at the hospital, I think back on those words and think about how she would have handled a particular situation. I will miss her wisdom the most.

To Iva’s Family…
I worked in the Emergency Room at Memorial Mission Hospital many years ago. Iva was already in charge of the X-ray Dept., and had occasion to meet many patients during registration. My memories of her were that she was a strong-willed woman who got the job done…and almost always with a smile and kind word to the patient. I will certainly remember Iva with fondness!!
