Dear Joy, Donna And Gail,
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I think I can not remember when I did not know Dr. Galloway and your family. It has been most of my life. I have such fond memories of the times that our families spent together. The beach, the lake, back yard barbeques. We all had a great time, and many, many good memories. If Mama and Daddy were still alive they would echo my thougths. May the Grace of God be with you.
Sincerely,
Ann Martin

My heart goes out to your family for your loss. We are praying for your comfort during this difficult time. Love you Donna!
Dr Galloway was my doc after a bad accident when i was a kid. I loved his laugh and the good care he gave me. My prayers go out to his family.
I remember Dr. Galloway when I worked at
St. Joseph’s in the mid 70s. It was always great to see him, as he made his rounds. It seemed as though you were a good friend, even if he barely knew you. Dr. Galloway always had a
word of encouragement – or something funny
to tell you. He will be missed. May God’s grace
be with you all during this time of sadness.
We send our sincere sympathy. We became friends with Doc while walking mornings at the Ashville Mall for several years. We loved sharing morning coffee when he joined our little group of Mall Walkers. A very good friend and we were saddened to learn of his recent illness and death. He loved his grandchilren and spoke of them often with pride
My condolences to you all, especially Donna and Gail. I remember with great fondness playing with you both in your sandbox on Marne Rd. back in the 50’s. A great place to have been kids. I do remember, though a bit vaguely, your parents. I shall keep you in my thoughts in the days ahead.
I JUST WANTED TO TO SAY HOW SORRY I AM ABOUT DR. GALLOWAY. HE OPERATED ON MY SPINE IN 1964. TO THIS DAY THERE HAS NOT BEEN A DAY HE HAS NOT CROSS MY MINE.I JUST WANTED HIS FAMILY TO KNOW THIS.
Dear Mrs. Gallowy, Donna and Gail,
I am very saddended by the death of Dr. Galloway. He and my father enjoyed their relationship and my dealings with Bruce were always enjoyable. He was a superb doctor and a fine gentleman and the world will be lessened by his absence.
If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

Joy, Donna and Gail
I was saddened when Donna informed me of Bruce’s death. Bruce was a wonderful warm and loving individual as well as a fine orthopedic surgeon. I first met Bruce when I attended Joy and Bruce’s wedding 60 years ago. Joy is my cousin and we lived in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y. I can recall when I visited Asheville going out to eat that many persons in the place greated Bruce and welcomed him warmly since they had been former patients of his.I will miss his warm and welcoming voice when I called on the Galloways on the phone
Dear Donna, Gail, and Family,
I know it has been a while since Dr. Galloway’s death, but I just found the web site and ofcourse I had to write something. Not a day goes by that I dont think of Mr. Galloway and the joy he brought to my life. Taking care of him will be one of my fondest memories always. I will never forget his loving smile and endless hugs every time I came to the house. He is truely one of the most genuine, kind- hearted people I have ever met. Thank you so much for the privilidge to be a part of your family’s life. I love you guys.
