  1. Dear Barbara and family,

We were so saddened to hear of Jack’s passing. We always thought so much of him. We had not seen him in a long time, and did not know he had been sick. We were talking about him not long ago. We all went to Disney World, and we saw Tigger. Well, we all laughed about how he used to call Rachel, Tigger, when she was a little girl. He was a wonderful person, and will be missed by many. But, we know he is with God, and is rejoicing now. Our love and prayers are with you.

  21. Barbara and family: I worked at Asheville Fire Department with Jack and I retired there after 30 years. I had the pleasure of seeing and talking with Jack a while back. Jack was a very special person to every one and will be missed. He is in Heaven today in God’s hands. Angels are singing today because he is a part of our family. No more pain or sorrow, only happiness. We will pray for you and your family until we all meet Jack again, to be separated no more. May God bless all of you, Charles and Joan Birmingham.

  22. I am sure that Jack is in the place where I want to be and maybe just maybe he and I can play like we did many years ago with Carolyn and carol.
We always called him ‘little jack’ because he was smaller than us but as life passed by he became a man large as they come, a true man among men.
As long as God gives me breath he will be with me and his memory will be with me when my name is called to join with him then once again we will be as children never to part.
I am sorry that life will not allow us to be there to share in the sweet sorrow of Jack being lifted up to his father but I will be along in a little while and then we will put the shackles of this life aside and see his face again
    Love Sandra and Bill Moody
