Jack Eli Plemmons, Sr.

A native of Henderson County, Mr. Plemmons was a son of the late Joe Plemmons and Edith Keith Plemmons.

Mr. Plemmons was a former mechanic with Farm Equipment.

Survivors include his wife, Christine McDonald Plemmons; three daughters, Kathy Wells of Arden, Pamela Hensley of West Asheville and Sheri Franklin of Weaverville; one son, Jack Plemmons, Jr. of Missouri; one sister, JoEllen Maybin of Tuxedo; three brothers, Bill Plemmons of Omaha, NE, Bud Plemmons of Dana, NC, and Earl Plemmons of Etowah; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 15 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jack's name to the PANCAN organization at the following address: PANCAN, P.O. Box 1010, Torrance, CA 90505.
