I unfortunately never got to meet Mr. Pike, but heard a lot of great things about his life and character. My condolences for his loss. He will be sorely missed by all whom knew him.
I was fortunate to have worked with Jack for many years. He was truly a man from “the greatest generation” and I am honored to have known him. I hope that he is now flying high in the cockpit of a P-51 Mustang, which he loved. Rest easy my friend.
Farewell my good friend say hello to my Randy and swap stories once again ..You will be missed by so so many. You are loved RIP sir..So much history. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
Mr. Pike, it was always a pleasure seeing and being around you. Truly one of the most pleasant people anyone could ever have known. Rest in peace my friend and enjoy the heavens as you always have. God bless and hold you close for all eternity.
Sorry to hear of Jacks passing. Jack was one of my eating buddies at the Corner grill every day. He shared many good stories and life’s journey. Rest in peace my friend.
Uncle Jack, you not only loved to fly in the sky, but you enjoyed your time in car racing as well. You, Ted Sellers, Dickie Plemmons, PV Brown, and the rest of the crew can now have conversations about building race cars, and who finished where at the track. It was an honor for you to have your picture placed on the Racing Monument that was placed down on Amboy Road. I was proud of you for that accomplishment. I always enjoyed watching you work on your cars. I learned a lot more about cars and racing than I ever realized. May you rest in peace with Aunt Mary.
Love always,
Lisa
RIP brother.
