Jack Perry Meadows, 73, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024.

A native of Asheville, Jack was a son of James Meadows and of the late Ila Dillingham Meadows. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elora.

Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He later retired from the Buncombe Co. Sheriff’s Dept. after 25 years of service as a Deputy. He later provided security to AB-Tech and the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Ramsey Meadows; daughters, Melissa Pfaller (Nick), Tracy Suhren, and Jacqueline McEntire (Casey); brothers, Dean Meadows (Doris), Bob Meadows, Phil Meadows (Debbie), and Barry Meadows (Sarah); and grandchildren, Ryan, Lucas, Anthony, Jackson, Keira, and Elle.

A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Friday, September 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church, in the fellowship hall.
