Jack Russell Nordahl, a Veteran of the Korean War, a resident of Delray Beach, Florida age 86 passed away on September 18th of 2023 in Pineola, North Carolina.

Jack was born in Swanville, Minnesota to Augusta and Bruno Nordahl on March 21, 1937. Jack is proceeded in death by sisters, Sharon Storlie, LaDonna Murray and brother Skip Nordahl.

He was married to Hazel Joan Davidson his Bride of 66 years. Jack is survived by his wife Hazel Nordahl, son Russell Nordahl and daughter Tammy Nordahl.

Jack was a wonderful loving husband to his bride and a proud, loving, and supportive father to his children. Jack was a successful, respected home builder in Augusta, Georgia for many many years. Above all Jack knew Our God and King and was faithful in his relationship his entire life. Jack and Hazel enjoyed their golden years traveling all over the United States and Europe. They especially enjoyed traveling in their motor home with a care free life of loving each other and being the best of friends. Jack and Hazel shared their fondest memories of their summers in the mountains of North Carolina.

He will always remain in our hearts and memories.

  1. I’ve had the blessing of getting to know Hazel and Jack for the past couple of years as we spent our time in the beautiful NC mountains. This is truly the most beautiful couple I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Jack will always be remembered by is big smile, friendly hellos and especially his deep love for his “bride and pride and joy, Hazel. I love this couple so much and I’m truly blessed to have been able to call them my friends. Hazel, I love you and you have my deepest sympathy and continued prayers.
