about Jimmy. You know he was
one of a kind, I’m really going to miss my buddy.

  3. Dear Sally and family,
It is with sadness that I heard about Jim’s death. He and I were pretty close as children. I was in Freida’s wedding. But I moved away from Asheville in 1961 and only came back a few times a year while my parents, Burgin and Willie, were alive. We did come back to Uncle Pern’s funeral and saw you and Jim there. Then in 2000 we got together with 23 of the relatives at a restaurant in Asheville. Mabel was among the group, but we were told that Jim had a baseball game that afternoon and evening. So sorry we missed him then.

You and your family are in our prayers for peace and comfort. We know it is never easy to give up a loved one. Treasure all of the happy memories you have of your time with him. May God give you comfort.
    Much love,
    Jeanette and Ed Parham
