Guestbook

  1. I am so very sorry about your loss. I worked with Andy in the R&D Department at Beacon. He was a good friend and I will miss him alot. He always made us smile.

  2. Jim was my uncle and my dad’s, Carl, youngest brother. Jim was 4 years older than I, so he was more like an older brother than an uncle. We spent many a 4th of July together with a barbeque, dance at the church close by, and the fireworks in Hoffman Estates. There were also the Christmas Eve’s at Mommie’s, Patterson’s, Left’s, Linster’s or at the Anderson’s. What a group would gather with grandkids and cousins, Linsters – Bruce, Cindy, Debbie; the Left’s Laura, Eddie, Janet, John and Jerry; Janet’s son Robbie. Plus all the Lund family Bobby, Marie, Ralph and Esther, Bob and Elsie, Ollie and Lena. Oh the Swedish cooking! I remember the homes – Honary Street, Carpentersville, and Hoffman Estates. Memories of Jim running throught the screen door when a storm came. Jim eating a whole bowl of chili after school that was made for whole family’s supper. Jimmy the linebacker. Jimmy the eater. The laid back Jimmy a friend to all. I wish I could think of more. I am sure Sook and Janet have many more. Cheryl and I will think of you on everyone of our Wofford football trips to Spartanburg. Love ya!

  3. Laura & Yolanda,
Sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

  4. DADDY I WILL LOVE AND MISS YOU ALWAYS. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT SAID ENOUGH I HOPE YOU KNEW. YOU ARE THE BEST MAN I HAVE EVER KNOWN. IT WILL BE HARD KNOWING YOU WILL NOT BE AROUND BUT I REALLY BELIEVE YOU WILL BE THERE TO WATCH OVER ALL OF US.
    I LOVE YOU DADDY
    LOVE LAURA

  5. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I am Jim’s nephew, Joan and Bob Linster’s son. Although I haven’t seen Jim in many years, I still fondly recall the many Holidays we spent together as we were growing up. In many ways I viewed him more like an older brother when we were young because we were only 5 years apart. I regret that I lost track of my extended family, but Jim will alway be in my memories.

  6. In Loving memory of my brother in-law Jim. I will miss you very much.I will miss sitting at the table drinking coffee and just chatting about everything.I know you are in a better place now.I know you don’t suffer anymore pain.Jim was not just a brother in-law to me,he was like a brother. He was a good kind hearted person to everyone. I never heard him say anything unkind about anyone. And he was always there if you needed something. He loved his family,he loved family get togethers.Especially the Holidays.I will miss him being jolly in his Santa hat for the kids. He had a good soul and I have no doubt that he has gone on to heaven and we will see him again one day. What a joyous day that will be.Cathyleen really had a soulmate in you Jim,but I guess God needed you more.Until then my friend and brother. I love you and will never forget you.Like the song says you belong to God now.May you rest in Gods loving arms now. I love you. Jeantte.

  7. Jim was my younger brother who I loved very much. Jim was an example of love and kindness. Although we were many miles apart he was never far from are thoughs. He will always be in are hearts and though, with all my love. Sooks
