James Charles George
January 7, 1978 ~ August 21, 1999
A native of Asheville, he was the son of James F. and Mary Ellen McGovern George of Asheville. He
was a 1996 graduate of Asheville High School and was a Flight Attendant Trainee with US Airways.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three sisters, Kelly George of Washington, DC, and
Kate and Chloe George of Asheville; his girlfriend, Julie Childs; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Helen McGovern of Monessen, PA; his paternal grandparents, James
George, Sr. and Carol Willcox of Asheville; his uncles, Tom, Chuck, Mike and Pat; aunts, Linda, Toni-Jo, and Lisa; and cousins, Jessica, Aaron, Charlie, Melissa, and Kelly.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with
the Rev. John Johnson officiating.
