James E. Myers

James Edward "Bar" Myers, 55, of 539 Holbert Rd., Mountain Home, died Monday, September 25, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. Myers was born in Buncombe Co., and was a son of the late Eugene and Ruby Searcy Myers. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Grace Edmonds and three brothers, Earl, Mark and Tater Myers.
Mr. Myers is survived by six sisters; Frances Willix, Kathy Buckner, Sharon Raines, Shirley Myers, Hazel McMahan and Linda Wheeler; three brothers, Jerry, Ernest and Roger Myers; three step-daughters, Jessica, Michelle and Heather; and one step-son, David.
A memorial service will be held at Grassy Branch Baptist Church on Riceville Road at 7:00 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Terry Duckworth officiating. Private burial will be later in the church cemetery.
His family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with the expenses.
I am so sorry to hear about Bar. I always enjoyed him. He has always been a friend. He will be sadly missed. Wendy and the girls are full of sadness. I will be thinking of each and every one of you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Bar C… Gosh i cant beleive your really gone… i saw you sunday then you were gone moday thats so crazy!!! you have always been kinda like a 2nd ‘DAD’ to me since daddy died when i was so young you lived with us for i dont know how long and and you were my friend!!! i never thought i would lose you so soon but atleast your with Daddy and Tater and with gramma and papaw so maybe you will be happy and not suffer anymore… YOu will always be on my mind and when you get to then crossroads and see everyone please be sure to tell Daddy Tater and My Bubba that i miss then so much and that i will see them soon one day!!! Please Watch over me through my days I love you lots and am gonna miss you more
