Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Cathy, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you and help you through the coming days.

  2. When I heard of your father’s passing I was filled with wonderful memories. As a young man I would walk to your house hoping to find Mr. Connor working in the yard. He would be dressed extremely nice no matter what the task. Mr. Connor always treated me with respect and we would have great conversations. I am lucky to have had such a good neighbor and role model during my childhood.
I am truly sorry for your loss.

  3. There are no comforting words to console you during this time of bereavement. You can review biblical scriptures as a guidance to show what happens when love ones pass away. Be joyful that your father will not bear anymore pain nor suffering. My prayers go out to you and your family.

  4. Cathy, Your Dad is now with your Mom… I know you miss them both, here on earth, but we’ll all see them again one day. I hope that thought gets you through the days. Your mom and dad were a delight, and I’m glad I met them. I hate you are going through this, am so glad you have close family and friends, and my thoughts are up there with you during this time. I love you, honey.
    Ace

  5. Cathy, I am so sorry about your dad. I am glad that I was able to know both your dad and your mom. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Laura

  6. Dearest Cathy, Near to the heart of God are His children. Lean on Him. ‘I will look unto the hills from whence cometh my help.’
God bless you and comfort you. I know that you placed your trust in Him long ago and have that peace that passes all understanding.
We WILL be with our loved ones again.

    Love,
    Joyce

  7. Our Brother has gone to be with the Great Architect of the Universe and will be missed by family, friends and brethren. May God lift up his loved ones and give strength during these days ahead. HIS Grace and Love can conquer all. Remember the good times together and cherish the memories. God Bless.

  8. I got to know James through his nephew, he was a wonderful man, we would just sit sometimes and talk. He would talk I would mostly listen to his stories of a life well lived. I will miss him very much he always had a smile and hug for me. Cathy I know you will miss him greatly but I also know you have alot of wonderful memories of your father.

  9. I’m very sorry for your loss. I am unable to attend service but our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  10. Mr. C was always such a loving person and a great story teller. He could always get us laughing.

    We will miss his smile!

Cathy, we love you and will be here for you.

  11. Cathy, my heart weeps for you, and the pain you feel. I know Jim is happy now, he is with Adelaide.
I am so glad we had dinner together before the surgery. That was such a fun evening Jim was just himself, talking laughing, and sharing his Tiramisu with everyone. Just like Jim sharing.
He always shared his knowledge of gardening, his plants, some of the best tomatoes I have ever had. Smell the gardenias, beautiful roses, all memories of Jim. When my Hostas poke there heads up this Spring, my Gardenias are blooming, you can bet I will remember, and toast the wonderful friend and neighbor who gave them to me. You will be missed.
Cathy, you are like family, never forget that. Love you much.

  12. Shirley and Betty Jean, You have my prayers and love at a time like this.
    Betty Lou Crowell Crowder

  13. Jim was a good neighbor at first, but it wasn’t long before he became a very good friend. Cathy your father has always been a great friend to me and I will never forget him. Jim would always do anything to help in any way he could. Anytime I had a project going, Jim was always there to help.
I’m glad you, Margaret and I got to be together a couple of weeks ago. I will really miss Jim and am sorry he is not with us anymore.
