Uncle Jim will be sadly missed. We wish we could have been there with all of you.
I went to work for Western Carolina Optical about 17 years ago and met Jim shortly afterwards. I grew to love him and most of us called him Papaw because we felt like he was just that. He made us laugh a lot and had a personality that caused you to feel like you had known him all your life. He was always the same caring person everyday, he made work a lot more fun. I always enjoyed seeing him drive his pickup truck to work as he took about the same route as I did. I dont know his family, although I heard him speak of them often, but I know you were blessed to have him and that you will miss him greatly, just as we will miss him also. I will never forget Papaw because he truly touched my heart.

With sincere sympathy in the loss of your Father. Will see you soon.
