  1. Gloria and Jeanette,
I was sad to hear that your father had passed away. Just know that he is with our Lord now. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. I feel honored to have known ‘Mr. D’. He was just like a grandfather to our family. I thank God for the times we have spent with him, his stories, and the advice he has given me, my husband, and my boys. He will be greatly missed and I know that we will meet again one day. God Bless your family and please let us know if there is anything we can do for you all.

  3. To the family of Mr. ‘D’, When I think over the past 30 years or so, this family comes often to my mind. When we needed a place to live, we talked to Mr. ‘D’, and he let us move to Oakley Rd. We felt as though we had found home and did for nearly 25 years. When Don lost his job on a Friday, Mr. ‘D’ found out about it & told him to come on down Monday morning & ‘let’s talk’. Monday morning came & Don went to the shop.He told Don to ‘get in the truck’ with Lee & maybe together they could make a plumber out of him. Don asked him if he didn’t want to talk & Jim said ‘I just did’ -thats been about 28 years ago. Mr. ‘D’ was a very firm speaking man with a heart of gold & had been down some long hard roads & had the knowledge to give good advise. Having known the family over the years, they have jumped hurdles and had to overcome a lot of obsticles, but God’s strength & dignity, you’ve made it thru. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. We all know when our loved ones suffer, we think its easier to give them up, and sometimes it is, however, the pain is still there. God’s grace is more than sufficient to get you thru this difficult time. Just hold on to the memories of the yesterdays for they will sustain you in your tomorrows.

  4. So sorry to hear of the passing of Tige. He was an inspiration to all on the circle and to all the Dotson Families. I know he is now united with all his love ones in heaven and if we are saved, we will one day be with him. God Bless all of you. You are in our prayers.

    Love, Joe and Pat

  5. Jeanette,

  6. Gloria and Jeanette,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at the passing of your father. He is with our Lord now. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love you both..
    Bill

  7. What a privilege it was to get to know Mr. Dotson. He started coming to Emma’s Grove several years ago and was always a blessing. He had a ready smile and a hearty welcome to one and all. I will miss him here on earth but I know that one day I will get to see him again. When he figured out who my sister and I were, he told us we were cousins. Cuz, I will play you a special song Sunday at church.

  8. Jeanette,an Gloria

for nearly thirty years.Had seen him from time to time over the years since I retired. Always spoke
to me,would do any thing for you to
    help you out.
