Jane Catchur Donnelly, one time resident of Marlborough, CT, gently passed away on April 6, 2021 in Fletcher, NC.
Her 88 years started in Denver, Colorado where she was a proud graduate of Denver University and a member of Gamma Phi Beta. Upon graduating, she went to Washington DC where she met and married Edmund H. Donnelly in 1955. She was extremely interested in politics and was active in the Democratic Party wherever she lived. She was passionate about getting every able person registered to vote. As well as a love of politics, Jane was an ardent Mets fan and would place her 1969 Mets book near the TV as inspiration for the team’s success. She was an active member of the Hartford Chorale, loved choral music and a lifelong Episcopalian.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund, and her son, Andrew. She leaves behind her son Michael and his wife Sue, son John and his wife Correne, and daughter Virginia and her husband Sam. Jane was blessed to have two grandchildren, Samuel Eurich and Hilary Eurich.
A private ceremony will be held at the family’s convenience.
