Janice was one of my favorite people. A very nice and devoted person. She was my first cousin and I shall truly miss talking with her.

Mrs. McFalls was my math teacher at AC Reynolds years ago and Shellie was my classmate. Mrs. McFalls was such a kind and patient woman, I will always remember her with great fondness. My heart and prayers go out to her family, I am so sorry for your loss.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. McFalls’ husband and family – I graduated from Reynolds in ’86 and she was my homeroom teacher one year. She was always kind and always had a smile to offer. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.
I was truly saddened to find Mrs. McFall’s obituary in todays paper.
I was in her class @ ACR many years ago. I remember a caring, patient lady who taught me so much. This is a great loss for her family and for the children she would have taught in coming years. My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family during this difficult time. Now you have your own personal guardian angel watching over you.
Tracy, Shelley, Mr. McFalls and family, I am so saddened to hear that you lost Janice. I hope that you find comfort in each other and in knowing how many lives she touched in a positive way during her life. My thoughts are with you now and in the coming months as you face all the emotions and challenges of going forward in your lives.
To Janice’s Family
It is hard to put in to words what Janice meant to A.C. Reynolds High School. She had to be one of the hardest working teachers that I have ever known. When I would get through with athletic practices she would still be here working on lesson plans, grading papers, helping students etc. She was truly one of a kind in many ways and she will be missed. I hope that your grief is some how lessened by knowing how many of her colleagues respected and loved her.
Sincerely,
G.T. ‘Buck’ Buchanan
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am so sorry for your loss. I too was in class with Mrs. McFalls along with Shellie and Christine Rossi. I have many fond memories of my time with her. You are all in my prayers.
Doug and family, I am so sorry about the loss of your wife and Mother. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.
Doug, Tracy, Shellie, and all your family members. We were so saddened to hear of your loss, but we were comforted (as we know you are) to know that Janice is safe in the arms of our loving Saviour, and is free of pain, and has a new, glorified body. She gets to give Praise to our Lord in person, while we still must worship Him from afar. We will surely miss Janice, her smile and her friendship. This is what she has to look forward to: ‘Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.’ 1 Cor.2:9
May God bless you, and give you His comfort, during this time of loss.
Because of Calvary, Your neighbors,
Dave and Frances
To the family of Mrs. McFalls,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was a student of Mrs. McFalls and she was always willing to help me out. She was a wonderful teacher. I will be praying for your family.
I work at Reynolds where Janice taught. I enjoyed talking with Janice. She always expressed her faith and love for her family. She taught one of my boys. He spoke very highly of her. Our children have lost a very loving, caring teacher but it doesn’t compare to your loss. My heart grieves with you. I pray for your comfort and God’s grace to carry you in the days ahead.
Loving concern,
Elva Ponder
Mrs. McFalls was my Algebra 2 teacher in 97 at Reynolds. She was a wonderful teacher in and out of the classroom. I am now a math teacher here in Gastonia trying my best to do as good of a job that she always did. I always cherished the times when I would come back to the school and see her smile when I told her that I was going to be like her. She will be greatly missed in my heart and my condolences to the family.
Janice was a wonderful teacher and friend who had such a positive affect on everyone who came in contact with her. My prayers go out to the family. She truly will be missed!
To The McFalls,
Mrs. McFalls was my Algebra 2 teacher and I always knew that she expected the world of us and for us. She was a great teacher, hard, but I learned so much from her. I was a friend to Shellie, and I am so saddened to hear of her passing. Please accept my sympathies.
Doug, Shellie, Tracey and families,
I just wanted you to know how much you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always have fond memories of Janice…from our ballfield days to how wonderful she was to Stevie and Beth at Reynolds. God bless you all. Love you, Claudia and Steve Harrison.
SORRY I COULD NOT MAKE IT DOUG BUT I SHARE YOUR SORROW MY WIFE PASSED AWAY 3 YEARS AGO IT WILL BE HARD BUT GOD WILL HOLD YOUR HAND CHARLES
My sincere condolences to the Family of a great soldier of God’?. My heart was saddened to hear of Janice passing on. But the sadness was soon replaced with joy.. I had heard of her battle and at the moment of hearing her passing’? I thought’? She won’? The Victory is now hers, knowing she is now in Heaven. Knowing the kind of person she was, and how she helped me personally, I now know she was instilling the experiences of Love and Kindness and Compassion she had been witness of from God, to the misguided souls such as I… I graduated in 94 and Janice would help me many times with giving words of advice and wisdom. God be with her Family and Friends’? She will truly be missed here in this world of chaos, but will be the most beautiful flower in God’s garden today’?..
Doug,
I doubt that you will remember me, but Janice and I were roomates in Marion on Eckenrod Hill Apts. when she did her student teaching at Marion High School. I was so shocked to hear of her passing. I always remember her as such a bubbly, happy, thoughtful person. I remember when you two first met and she fell so in love with you. You were meant for each other! I am sorry that we did not keep in touch over the years, but I will always remember Janice as such a good person. I think my Mother and Father came to see you when you lived in NOrth Cove. Call me sometime and when the time is right maybe we can get together and reminesience. I am married to
Dellmos Vance whom Janice knew and we live in Newland, NC. Our phone number is 828-737-9253. I am retired and living on our family farm. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family on your loss. As I said previously, I will always remember that bubbly smile and that sweet face. She was the best ‘Roomie’ I ever had! I would love to hear from you and your children. You are in my prayers.
Always,
Ann Coleman
My condolences go out to Doug, Shellie, and Tracey during this difficult time. I am so sorry about your loss. I will always remember Janice and the fun times I had with her growing up. She was my youth leader and confirmation teacher at church and I remember playing kickball with her almost every Sunday in the gravel parking lot. Janice was also my math teacher at Reynolds years ago and was such a great teacher. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of her family during this time.
I also had Mrs. McFalls for high school Algebra, and I vaguely remember her putting up with us as a chaperone on an OM trip to Michigan in 3rd grade (something I now have much more respect for). Whenever I ran into her in more recent years, she was always great to talk with. I hope you take comfort in your faith and in your
memories of her.
My sincere heart-felt condolences to your entire family. You know in your hearts how very special she was to each of you. Remember the lessons and the love that she left for you. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I went to school with Shellie & want to offer my love & prayers for her family. I pray that God will give you peace & fill your hearts with strength.
Love,
Amanda Lindsay
Shellie,
I just found out about the death of your mother. I am so sorry. She was a very special person. I always loved her and your family. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless, Misty
