Jean Brummal Petillo

Fletcher~ Jean Brummal Petillo, 87, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Park Ridge Hospital. A native of Clinton, Ky, she was a former resident of Dunn, N.C. before moving to Fletcher. Mrs. Petillo was daughter of the late Howard Brummal and Wilma Henley Brummal and was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Petillo who died in 1983 and a sister, June Brummal Belote. She attended Murray State University and was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church. Jean enjoyed singing, cooking and love to garden. Surviving is a daughter, Jeanne Nanney of Fletcher, a sister, Margaret Purdie of Dunn, N.C. and a brother, Jim Brummal of Clinton, KY. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday. August 14, 2010 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Reverend Maggie Laughter officiating.
